Serves 1 Ingredients ½ pot of Original Tomato Cool Beans 2 slices sourdough bread Butter Freshly cracked black pepper Fresh parsley, for garnish Method Pour half a pot of Original Tomato Cool Beans into a saucepan and heat over a medium heat until simmering. Meanwhile, slice the sourdough bread and toast until crisp and golden brown. Spread the toast with a good slathering of butter and top with the Cool Beans. Season with some cracked black pepper and garnish with some chopped fresh parsley. Tuck in!

This is comfort food at its best! Give the humble baked potato a health boost with some delicious smokey cool beans! Serves 1 Ingredients ½ pot of Smokey Cool Beans 1 baking potato sea salt Grated cheddar cheese A few fresh chives, chopped Method Preheat the oven to 180C fan. Scrub the potato and dry well, then prick in several places with a fork. Sprinkle with some sea salt and wrap it in foil. Bake directly on the oven shelf for 1-1½ hrs, until the potato feels soft when squeezed. Towards the end of the potato’s cooking time, pour half a pot of Smokey Cool Beans into a saucepan and heat over a medium heat until simmering. Unwrap the potato when done, split it open using a knife (be careful as it will be very hot!) and spoon in the beans. Sprinkle with some grated cheddar cheese and pop under the grill for a minute or two until the cheese is melted. Garnish with some chopped fresh chives and enjoy!

Any firm white fish is a gorgeous combo with Cool Beans! When pan-frying the fish make sure to use a non-stick pan and don’t try to turn the fish until it’s done. it is cooked when it’s firm to the touch and opaque. Don’t overcook it, though, which will dry it out! Serves 1 Ingredients ½ pot of Chilli Cool Beans 1 cod fillet 1 tablespoon olive oil sea salt freshly cracked black pepper 1 lemon 1 bunch of broccoli or your favourite greens Method Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a frying pan over a medium high heat. When hot, place the cod fillet on the pan skin side down. Season with sea salt and freshly ground black pepper. Cook for 5 to 7 minutes until firm and opaque, turning just for the last minute or two. While the fish is cooking, pour half a pot of Chilli Cool Beans into a saucepan and heat over a medium heat until simmering. Meanwhile, steam or boil the broccoli for 2-3 minutes until cooked al dente - don’t overcook! Serve the cod alongside the chilli beans and broccoli, and squeeze some lemon juice over the cod to finish!

Serves 1 Heat 1 tbsp of olive oil in a large frying pan. When hot, add a handful of chopped slices of chorizo sausage and then fry for 2 mins until the chorizo is starting to crisp. Tip in ½ a tub of Chilli Cool Beans and simmer for 5 mins. Add a skinless chunky fillet of cod (or haddock) to the pan, leaving the top of the fillet peeking out of the sauce, then cover with a lid and leave to cook for 3-5 mins or until the flesh flakes easily. Delicious served with crusty bread!

Serves 1 Grill 2 good quality sausages until browned and cooked through. Pour ½ a tub of Original Cool Beans into a saucepan and heat over a medium heat until simmering Fill another saucepan with boiling water and put on a very low heat so the water is just barely simmering. Break an egg into the water and poach gently for 2 minutes. Remove from water with a slotted spoon. To serve, spoon the beans over the sausages and top with your poached egg. Quick & DELISH!

Serves 1 Rub a sirloin steak with some salt, pepper, 1 tsp of paprika, and 1 tsp dried thyme. Rub some olive oil over the steak to coat it. Place the steak into a really hot large frying pan, turning every minute until cooked to your liking. Remove the steak from the pan and leave to rest on a plate for a few minutes. Pour ½ a tub of Smoky Cool Beans into a saucepan and heat over a medium heat until simmering. Serve the steak with the smoky beans on top - YUM!
